OLD BUSINESS
· Do we accept June Minutes?
A. In July, we went to Duval County, Edna Cantu county chairperson, Chairman Hinojosa TDP Chairman, Brenda Cruz TDP Regional Political Director, Alberto Martinez Northern Director for Rep Vicente Gonzalez, for a county chair meeting. Counties in attendance were Duval, Live Oak, Jim Wells, Webb, Kleberg, and Guadalupe.
B. Our county chairwoman attended a county planning meeting in Jim Wells by invitation of Cindy Rios to discuss options and plans for growing a democratic presence throughout South Texas.
C. Events Lisa and I became voter registrars in Aransas, Bee, Harris, Live Oak, Jim Wells, McMullen and San Patricio and Travis counties.
D. We went to Aransas County to attend Voter Access Network training with Blue-Up with Becky Schenker and Kirk Pate in August and met candidate John Love III, candidate for US Senator.
E. We went to Atascosa County to Casa de Hilberg to attend a candidate meeting, Atascosa Party Chairwoman with Tx AG candidate Joe Jaworski and Kathy Cheng.
F. We teamed up with Powered By People (PxP) and became an organizing captain to engage more residents in surrounding counties with voter registration. PxP donated a six foot folding tables, a banner, an accordion folder for paperwork.
G. Special thanks to state Representative Ryan Guillen for donating the banners for our voter registration tables. Those supplies were sorely needed so many thanks.
New Business
Volunteers to become voter registrars, precinct chairs, and county party officers.
We will begin block walking and canvassing after we receive our Covid-19 booster and flu shots.
We are in the position of accepting funds to help grow our party.
Our next party meeting will be on December 11th, 2021 watch the group on Facebook or your emails.
